London has a funny way of bringing people together when they least expect it.  After travelling a combined total of over ten thousand miles to get here, a combined total of twenty five years passed - and yet London never saw fit to let our paths cross.  Thanks London.

Eventually when we were both fresh out of long-term relationships, we decided to give online dating a shot.  Eight months and six disastrous first dates later Brian secured his seventh first date, Mohan, who piqued his interest with his refreshingly honest profile.

Meanwhile, with a decision seemingly having been made by match.com that he would only ever be compatible with an American, Mohan sifted through the profiles of dozens of Yanks.  On the verge of abandoning his search, he received a message from...a Yank.  But at least this one also lived in London.

A flurry of text messages evolved into walks along Regents Park canal and evenings at Sadler's Wells, which developed into weekends in Europe, introductions to families and friends, and creating a life together.

Eight years, many more highs than lows, and two slightly greying beards later we decided to surround ourselves with the people we love, and make it all legally binding.
